"Up the Dancing" - BBC Radio Scotalnd Show 2016
Jackie Bird takes a nostalgic look back at Scotland's vibrant discotheque scene of the 70s-80s with memories from club owners, DJ's, dancers, punters, bouncers and Scotland's very own disco diva Kelly Marie. From the big discos of Glasgow and Edinburgh like Ultra-Tech and Cinderella Rockerfella's to the unlikely disco hub of Flick's in Brechin, Jackie will discover what made these people dance themselves silly to the hot tunes from America and if they did indeed find love "Up The Dancing"!
